Medical Robot

I used a breadboard circuit to design a robot for my grandparents. The purpose for this device is to dispense certain medications during the day so that my grandparents would always remember which pills to take for their health. Along the way, I became familiar with basic circuit components such as resistors, wires, voltage sources. etc. 

With some research, I was able to implement an amplifier in my system so that a mere AA battery could generate just as much power. Additionally, I was able to use a BC547 transistor to reverse circuit flow so that my speaker would activate in the dark. I learned that just because something is done in a certain way doesn't mean that it is the best method and that innovation often comes from unexpected ideas.
